This one has a whole heap of colour! It was one of the first ones I did actually, maybe even #1 itself.

Ben said it was his favourite, which was nice, but I wouldn’t let him have it so painted him his own.

This is when I really started using the ‘negative space’ approach - again, it sounds fancy, it’s basically just stenciling isn’t it? There’s definitely more to come in that space, but I think this one holds water with the mix of consistencies, colour strengths, and brushstrokes.

The name? Well, I couldn’t figure out which was up to hang it. What do you think? Answers on a postcard.
