Ninetails is a Pokemon, one of the coolest I think. The little swirls in the middle of this piece look a bit like a set of different tails, maybe not quite nine of them, but you get the gist.

On the subject of ninetails, I definitely like the idea of ‘the nine tales’ - not 100% sure what that is, maybe a series of 9 paintings each with a different story? Maybe all 9 of them fit together like a jigsaw. I’m not quite there yet, but there’s something percolating there.

I gave this particular piece to my mum, she said she liked it, hearing that was a pretty good feeling.
